North Dakota
North Dakota does not have an Address Confidentiality Program. However, the state does have a program to assist in voter confidentiality.
What is the law?
North Dakota has a law that allows specific individuals to vote without publicizing personal information other than their name.
Who is eligible?
North Dakotans with a protection order or a disorderly conduct restraining order are eligible for this program.
How does the application process work?
If eligible, North Dakotans are automatically enrolled into the central voter file with a "secured active" designation as soon as they vote because the state does not have a voter registration process.
