Overview of Michigan ACP

Who is eligible?

Survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking are eligible for Michigan's ACP.


Who is covered?

Minor children, dependents, and guardians of an eligible applicant are covered by Michigan's ACP.


How does the application process work?

Michigan ACP applicants must apply with an approved application assistant when filling out the application. To locate an application assistant, you may call 313-456-0180. Additionally, applications must be notarized.


How does the program protect your address information?

Once admitted into Michigan's ACP, a participant will be assigned a substitute mail forwarding address for 4 years. This address may be used to register to vote or enroll in school or obtain a marriage license or driver’s license.
